Minor Absence of Fine

I haven't painted a new piece since my last one and am beginning to feel it a little. Painting, for me, isn't just about recreating an object. Although I'm not studying painting as my major, I don't think it should deter me from painting. The feel of brushing the canvas, each stroke applying different pressure, creating a whirlwind of meanings in a single image.

I think it's about time I went to get myself a new canvas and do a few preparatory sketches for a new piece. Hopefully I would be able to do so by next week, once my current project is complete.
